Ingredients

  • 1 slice of your favourite sourdough or seeded loaf
  • A handful of fresh radishes, chopped
  • 1 tsp umami concentrate (we use REDUCED for its zero-waste roots)
  • A generous scoop of ChicP Beetroot & Horseradish Hummus
  • A sprinkle of mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin or sesame work well)
  • A handful of seasonal greens (rocket, watercress or whatever’s knocking about)

Here’s an easy midweek, umami-spiked breakfast that sneaks in fibre, antioxidants, healthy fats and a solid hit of plant protein all before 9am.

How to Make It:

  1. Warm a pan over medium-low heat.

  2. Add the radishes with a few drops of umami concentrate and stir until charred.

  3. Toast your bread. While it’s hot, spread on a generous scoop of ChicP Beetroot & Horseradish Hummus.

  4. Pile on the radishes, scatter the seeds and top with a handful of greens and a crack of pepper.
