A bold, buttery tart that proves hummus belongs in your oven.

This one's fig-ging delicious (and yes, hot hummus is a thing).

Layers of flaky puff pastry, creamy ChicP Velvet Hummus, sweet jammy figs and rosemary come together for a fuss free tart that looks impressive but takes under 30 minutes. Whether you’re hosting a brunch, need a last minute “I cooked” dinner party dish or just fancy something wildly good for lunch, this tart is it.

How to Make It:

Preheat the oven. Set to 200°C (fan 180°C) and line a baking tray with parchment.
Score your base. Unroll your puff pastry and lightly score a 1cm border around the edge, don’t cut all the way through.
Layer it up. Spread a generous swoosh of ChicP Velvet Hummus inside the border.
Top it. Add sliced figs, a sprinkle of rosemary, salt and pepper. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil.
Bake. Pop it in the oven for 20–25 mins until puffed, golden and gorgeously crisp.
Serve. Eat it warm straight from the oven or cool to room temp if you’re in picnic mode.

Why It Works:

The creamy richness of our Velvet Hummus holds its own in the oven, soaking up the sweetness of the roasted figs and bringing a luxurious savoury note to each bite. Paired with golden pastry and fragrant rosemary, it’s a flavour combo that’s bold, simple and seriously chic.
